Biographical Information (About Me)
I started taking images of fire appliances around 2003 and then went into fire scenes.
I am an independent photographer supplying images to Queensland fire & emergency services and the Governments that represent them, I also supply when requested other media outlets, my work is used in publications, online media, training manuals and general promotional work of the various emergency services that I shoot.
I am a self taught photographer and have strong ethical beliefs & expect the same of others , I have been lucky to be given the access that I have to my state fire service and treat this as a privilege.
My firecall website is intended to show case the work that Queensland fire fighters do , often referred to as ‘firies’ these men and women operate in conditions and situations that most people could not comprehend.
